Our lives have been dictated to by the weather. The rain seems to have been contstant for weeks.
We can''t harvest in the rain so we have to wait until the grain is as dry as possible, this takes a good deal of patience and dry weather.

When it is warm take off your coat.

"When it is cold put on a coat, if you are going outside" thats what my Mum always said to me when I was little. When you are warm take it off, thats what I say to the sheep. Yes it is here again the time of year when you exercise your back to the extreme, clipping time.
